Our projects *
*Our overview map and the project list are constantly being updated. As some schools are located in regions that are difficult to access and not all data is yet available, they are unfortunately not yet complete.
Our preschools and primary schools in East Africa
Kindergartens in Tanzania
In the north of Tanzania, with the help of our local partners, TAWREF and MPDI, we are building nursery schools for the Maasai community and other tribes. Many children still live in remote areas where there is hardly any access to education. By building nursery schools, we not only create educational opportunities, but also improve the quality of life of the entire community. We guarantee the sustainability of the projects by involving the local population. They take responsibility for the project by participating in the construction, supplying materials and managing the school. Our partner organizations ensure that regular medical care is available through mobile clinics.

Project details:
- Construction of a classroom including furniture and an office space
- Construction of toilets and a large water tank
- Training of the nursery teachers
- Supply of learning and play materials
- 15 goats or investment in another income generating project to finance the running costs
The cost of a Kindergarten is 25,000 euros and we have already successfully completed 18 projects since 2023.
Nursery schools in Uganda
In Uganda, too, young children in rural areas often have no access to education. The Kidshare Foundation works here with partners such as CEFORD to build nursery schools and train teachers. With projects in the Moyo district and other areas, we want to give children in Uganda a good future.

Project details:
- Construction of 3 classrooms incl. equipment
- Toilets, water tanks and teaching materials
- Training for Kindergarten teachers and School Board
- Investment in an income generating project
The communities have opted for a large tent and chairs that are rented out for parties, weddings and all group gatherings. The total cost of such a facility is around 40,000 euros.
Primary schools in Kenya
In Kenya We focus on the expansion and renovation of existing primary schools. Many schools are still in poor condition, which makes learning difficult. Together with the Hongera foundation we support the construction of classrooms and improve the infrastructure. An example is the School in Sikalame that urgently needs additional classrooms and better infrastructure. The cost of this project is 42,000 euros. The photos below show a similar project - the situation before and after the construction of the Kidshare building.

Vision of the Kidshare Foundation
We want to improve the living conditions of the poorest children in the world. We achieve this by working together with our local partners to improve these children's access to education. Education is the key to a better life. Through education, these children can develop and increase their chances of a better future. Kidshare foundation focuses on pre-school, primary and secondary education in Africa, but our vision, our dream, goes beyond this continent: every child has the right to education and a good life, free from poverty.
