Strategic plan 2022-2026

More prospects for children in Africa

Investing in the future through early childhood education
Early childhood education is crucial for sustainable growth and social prosperity. According to Nobel Prize winner James Heckman:

"An investment in children is an investment in the future."

With targeted measures Kidshare not only promotes the individual development of children, but also strengthens local communities in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

3 pillars to achieve our goals :

1. a strong donor network for children in Africa

Kidshare is supported by a committed network:

  • Private sponsors and companies
  • Churches and social organisations

Thanks to the Close cooperation with major donors they can directly experience the impact of their donations. They take part in the school openings, receive status reports during the development period and are always welcome to visit the preschools and primary schools later on.

This transparency inspires others to get involved too - together for a better future.

2. a professional organisation for a sustainable future

To improve our ambitious targets by 2026 to achieve this, the Kidshare Foundation organisational development. With a stronger structure and optimised processes, we are ensuring that our mission remains sustainable and efficient.

Planned measures for professionalisation

Establishment of a stable organisational structure:

  • Establishment of a Supervisory Boardwhich monitors strategic decisions.
  • Appointment of a Operations Managerwho coordinates the day-to-day management of the company.
  • Country coordinators in Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda, who act as local contacts.

Strengthening of marketing and fundraising activities:

  • Development of innovative strategies to attract new donors.
  • Long-term retention of existing supporters through transparent communication and regular updates.
  • Expansion of digital channels such as social media, email marketing and targeted campaigns to increase our reach.

3. together with the local population

Since 2009, Kidshare has been enabling innovative and community-based approaches:

  • Construction of preschools and primary schools.
  • Awarding of scholarships to girls who would not have access to education without support.
  • Cooperation with municipalities:
Parents, teachers and volunteers are actively involved in organising the educational projects.

Local communities support many projects themselves - a key to sustainable, community-led education projects.
