Spin-off effects of our work in Tanzania

One of our core values is ‘together’. The local community is our starting point. They must be motivated to build the future of their children and their village. We work together with our partner organisations. The government is also an important partner. In Tanzania, our ECD (Early Childhood Development) programme has been very successful. We have now built 18 nursery schools there. In six cases, the government has added classrooms for a primary school. That is a total of 24 extra classrooms for a primary school. In five villages, the village is also connected to the water network and they now have clean drinking water. Together, we can achieve more.

We built 10 preschools and equipped one primary school with water and shower facilities. 28 bright girls who would otherwise never have been able to afford their school and university education have graduated. We are very happy about that.
