Kidshare foundation builds preschools in Tanzania

Kidshare works with two partner organisations in northern Tanzania.
They know the Maasai people and are aware of their needs. There is a great demand
after kindergartens. We have made agreements with them. One of these is that the local
population owns the project and helps with the construction. They contribute by providing local
provide materials. Together they also form a board for the school.
The parents make sure that the children get a meal at school every day.
Kidshare finances the project, which consists of the following elements:
+ Construction of the school with a large classroom and an office space.
+ Construction of toilets
+ Installation of a large water tank.
+ Supply of furniture, chairs and benches for the classroom.
+ Provision of learning and play materials for the children
+ The training of kindergarten teachers.
+ 15 goats for the school.
It is a one-off investment that can secure an income for the school. So that
can be used to pay the salaries of the kindergarten teachers.
Our partner organisation provides regular medical care at the school
(mobile clinic).
The cost of the entire package is €25,000.

Mayor Jos Wienen praised Hans’s dedication and enthusiasm, which have made it possible for Kidshare to build 66 schools in several African countries.
