What a celebration it was! Last month, we opened a new preschool with Kidshare in the far north of Uganda. A very poor area where children have no chance without good education. The parents had built a mud hut there. There, the children were taught on the ground in the dusty sand. The school had been running like this for thirteen years, even during the coronavirus period. Last year, we visited this village. I was very impressed by the dedication and determination of this community, the strength of the preschool teachers. We chose this village as our first choice for a new school this year. What a privilege it is for Kidshare to build a new school building here together with the people of the village. Together, that's a real celebration! In the photos, you see the old school building and the new one. We have already built 10 preschools this way in Uganda.
